ABOUT ME
Welcome! My name is Annabelle Barton, I am a creative direction graduate, designer, make-up artist, all-round lover of all things fashion. Here you will find examples of my work in the industry, the projects I have creative directed, in particular my Final Major Project 'Pint-Sized,' an online magazine. I am passionate about diversity in all areas of the fashion and beauty industries and have made purposeful imagery throughout my university career to ensure this is something I can bring into the professional workplace. I am always researching the latest beauty and fashion trends and relating this to my work, this enables me to forge my own opinion and experiment with them in different mediums. MAC SS19 TRENDS BEAUTY EDITORIALS
Researching these SS19 trends was very enjoyable and allowed me to experiment with current beauty trends in collaboration with MAC Cosmetics. I creatively directed, styled, and was the hair and make-up artist for these two editorials giving me complete creative freedom. I am really pleased with these outcomes as they display the trends perfectly along with researched complementary trends for the styling and hair designs. The two main make-up trends were the glitter liner which I adapted the placement of to under the eyebrow for the pink editorial, and the blue glossy lid which I paired with the patterned shirt and feathers weaved into the hair.
